with the web server to determine if a visitor supplying a valid user name

Domain Forwarding is a useful tool for generating more traffic and
increasing search engine visibility, as it enables forwarding of
additional domain names to any page, directory or external URL without
purchasing additional hosting accounts. Forwarded domains can display the
destination URL (Standard Forwarding) or the actual domain name
that was typed in (Frame Forwarding). For example, if a user
types in a domain that was set up under Standard Forwarding, he or she
will see the actual URL of the web page the domain was forwarded to in
the browser's address bar, while under Frame Forwarding, only the
original domain that was entered will be displayed without revealing
the actual forwarding URL.

servers each connected to a different network backbone. Each server

One server acts as a primary DNS server, while the second one being a
secondary. Your website and all updates would be uploaded to both servers
each time, and all mailboxes are also set up on both servers. Your mail
client would also check for mail on both servers. The end result, if one
of the two servers crashes or fails, the second server would become the
only available DNS server, thus automatically forwarding all web traffic
and e-mail to itself. This means no downtime whatsoever from hardware or
network failure, and perhaps the most reliable insurance policy against
downtime.
